The Early Learning Community
programme,
aims to make a positive and sustainable difference to the lives of children growing up in poverty in communities across the United Kingdom, by taking a whole-system and evidence-based approach to improving early learning outcomes.
I joined The Early Learning Community as a system map designer, whereby I and a colleague designed fifteen maps which were used with community members to analyse the systems surrounding the four different communities.
I then continued on without my colleague working closely with the communities to create a visual identity, concept graphics and reports to share with stakeholders and prospective partners. When designing the visual identity, I worked closely with the community leads, who reflected community feedback on different iterations to ensure I captured the right visual narrative to represent them.
